Hi. I am 42 years old and just left the doctor after finding a very large lump in my left breast. She has scheduled me for an ultrasound and mammogram tomorrow. My mother and my paternal grandmother both are breast cancer survivors. I am terrified. My lump is odd shaped and runs from above my nipple to just below it. It is really sore. I would appreciate any information as to what it might be. Thank you!
