      Don't give up! My symptoms continued until the endocrinologist did a TSH test. (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone test.) This showed that I had a lifelong problem even thought the T3 and T4 didn't show anything was wrong. I take Synthroid. You can take generic Synthroid (l-thyroxine) for $1.00 a month if you get it at Wal Mart. Good luck!

      I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism when I was 19. I took medication for 2 years, and did great, have been without it or a doctor ever since, due to finances, and symptoms are getting unbearable. Looking for natural remedies.
