About Me
Hello, My name is Jennifer I'm 34years old and getting married next month. I live in Chester New York my fiance is the Captain of our Town's Ambulance corp. which we both ride to safe lives. He also is a Dispatcher for another town's police department. It took me 34 years to find the love of my life and now we are faced with this, it really isn't fair. I love him so much I worry what will happen if something happened to me.
Interests
I love to care and support my patients with anything they need. I love to be with family and friends also shopping and doing things around my house which I haven't been able to do much of in a long time.

Close Brain / CNS Tumors
: MeningiomaI was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November of 2007 and since them my life hasn't been the same. Prior to being diagnosed I was enduring alot of left facial pain,severe migrains and falling alot. I also, had been getting fevers constant and antibiotics were not curing what ever it is I have. I just underwent a spinal tap to find out what is going on before I undergo a biopsy and Gammaknife radiosurgery. I'm very scared I'm getting married next month and all I have forward to is having surgery to remove my brain tumor that lays on my nerve. My current Job isn't being understanding and it is essentially causing me more stress and worries. I'm trying to look for help in so many areas on dealing with this. I wanted to have my fiance start a fundraiser but he feels like it would be asking money for himself when it really isnt its for me. My copays for my meds are extremly high amongst copays to see all these specialists. ***************PLEASE HELP********** I'm getting married and I'm scared what is in store for us after surgery.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It makes me sleepy so I dont feel that it works because I take it before bed and I dont feel any different!!!
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- This medication is my life saver in not feeling the sharp tingling feeling I get on the left side of my face amongst the fact it helps with the pain also. I cant take when Im working because it makes me very sleepy
- Fioricet Working / Worked
- This works well I have been on it a long time but my doctors only give me a ten day supply which I dont understand because if I dont take two tablets three times a day when I home then Im in alot of discomfort. Which during my working hours Im always in pain because I cant take the medication for it makes me to sleepy and out of it
Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
My name is Jennifer I'm 34 years old and was diagnosed with a brain tumor that lays on my Trigeminal nerve. Which causes alot of pain since then they have also called it a Menginoma. It is very painfull and puts alot of strain on my social and work life. I'm getting married next month and all I have to look forward to after my honeymoon is brain surgery.
Treatments
- Gamma Knife Considering
- Awaiting my next MRI to be done ar Cornell to determine what we will do surgery or just radiation.
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- I take this at night and it is hard to see and affect but makes me sleepy
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- This medication works well for me so far it has been increased alot over the months but without it I dont know if I would be able to manage the painfull knumbness that runs across my face at times.
