....a little frustrated lately, but GlaxoSmithKline sent me a three month supply of Requip which helps enormously. My left hand (dominant) is not cooperating as well as it has.
The neurologist says that exercise may slow the decline in parkinson's by 30%. 30% is 30%. Can't fight that. I already walk 4-5 miles a day just getting things done around town (haven't driven for three years.) My balance is fairly good due to tricks and exercises taught to me by an OT/PT. But my strength and muscle mass seem to be decreasing abit in the last couple of years.. I'm going to see the PT people again and come up with a weight exercise program.
