    Born in Charlotte, NC. Raised on fried chicken and lots of sugared ice tea. My Mom loved to make cheesecakes and assorted other cakes however I was not diagnosed diabetic until I went on Lithium for BiPolar/Manic Depression. Once I got off Lithium, my numbers started getting more normal.
