Close Fibromyalgia
I have had fibromyalgia for 15 years now & stillsuffer daily. I find it very hard to find people that understand what I am going through....husband included! Just looking for others to share friendship and understanding with!!
Treatments
- Acupuncture Not Working
- I had this done a few times in Toronto but I found the relaxation I got from it was short lived.
- Cyclobenzaprine Somewhat Helpful
- made me to tired to look after the kids.
- Effexor Not Working
- I had bad side affects from this...just made me dizzy & feel gross.
- Elavil Working / Worked
- I am currently taking this medication & have now for many years.
- Heat Working / Worked
- can help but can make me sick to my stomach if I get overheated.
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- I am currently taking this medication & I believe it does work somewhat.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- I was on this medication but the doctors thought that other meds would be beneficial. To bad really because it really worked well.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- It helps with the depression that seems to go along with fibromyalgia.
