Close Breakups & Divorce
My husband of 13 years is leaving me for another woman and I'm afraid of being on my own and having a hard time adjusting to the situation. He will be moving out once the school year is over, and wait to tell our son about it till then, so that he will not have any issues at school behaviour wise. Our son has ADHD.
Treatments
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- I talk to one of our friends, but she doesn't seem to understand how hard this is for me and just thinks I should get a grip on it and move on.
- Talking Somewhat Helpful
- My son's counselor is awesome...she doesn't have to talk to me as a counselor but she does, and tried to help me come up with ways to feel better about myself.
- Psychotherapy Too Soon to Tell
- Seeing my own counselor, but I'm not so sure it's working
