About Me
I am a 23 year old mother of two. My oldest is almost 4...and the apple of my eye. She is the most understanding and loving child I could ask for. She is the happiest big sister ever!! My youngest is 1 week shy of her 1st birthday. She has down syndrome, and has had a rough first year...but things are looking up for us now (thanks to the good Lord). I was a full time employee doing restorative care to patients on a locked down Alzheimers ward. I loved every minute of my job. When my youngest was born, I had to stop working so I could stay at home and make sure my girls were being taking care of. I plan on going back to school and becoming an R.N. specializing in pediatrics. Thats about all there is to me....I love my girls and they are my whole life. Being a mother is a true blessing...and being the mother of a child with down syndrome is one of the best things that has every happened to me! I love my girls to the end of the earth and back!!

hello my father has alheimer's disease and I truly love what you said about the family's visiting that the alzheimer patients. My uncle also had that disease and I used to send him cards and go visit him. I can tell what a wonderful heart you have for people and I hope I hear from you soon. Your children are blessed to have such a special person as their mother. You are equeally as blessed to have them in your life. Julie
