    About Me

    I am 46 yrs old and was diagnosed with RA about 2 1/2 yrs ago. I am married with 2 teenaged kids. I work part time and love to cook, read, do ceramics and garden. I am currently using Humira and Arava. I found this website through a nurse that I speak with from the specialty pharmacy I get my Humira from. After browsing some of the comments, I am convinced that this is where I need to be! I'm so glad I found this site.

      Prozac Working / Worked
      Ive been using Prozac for the last 20 yrs on and off. Only off when I was pregnant This med has been extrememly helpful to me to keep my mood on an even keel.
      Trazodone Working / Worked
      I use this in order to help me sleep. I have difficulty sleeping due to the pain I have so often.

      I'm 46 years old, married with 2 teenagers in the house. I've been married for 20 years. Been suffering with chronic pain due to RA,DDD and stenosis. I have had 2 neck surgeries in the last 10 years due to herniated disc and then for stenosis. I am working, but only part time. That's about all I can manage due to the unpredictible nature of my problem. I love to read, cook, garden and play mahjong.

      Treatments

      Neurontin Working / Worked
      Neurontin has helped me with the burning nerve pain that I have constantly in my right arm/hand/fingers. No negative side effects.
      Humira Somewhat Helpful
      Humira has given some relief from my RA. Ive been on it for almost a year. Will be reevaluated in Oct of this year.
