About Me
Im a single mother of 4 beautiful children and work as a dental assistant full time. After being on every medication possible since the age of 23, I was finally diagnosed with bipolar II 4 years ago. At first I was happy to finally know there was a name for what I was going through and that there were other people suffering just as I was. I started taking symbyax right away which seemed to open up these dark clouds and for the first time in a long time, I felt my head was very 'clear'. But after being on the medication for 2 years my body started to become immune, and I stopped taking it. I felt good. Still had my good days and bad days like everyone else but was seeing a therapist to help me learn to cope through my mood swings so I could stay med free. I do have a small support system, a couple really good friends. My family on the other hand does not understand me and therefore no longer is in contact with me. I found daily stregth and hoped to find a larger support system for myself and to learn more about bipolar and how to live a better, stronger life.
Interests
I love to paint, sew, garden, read..spend time with friends and travel.

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed with Bipolar II 3 years ago and the manic depression seems to be getting worse at times. I am on symbyax which helped in the beginning but is no longer helping. I can not find a counsler here in Michigan to talk to. They will only help if you admit yourself into the hospital.

- Seems to be helping some along with my symbyax.
