Open Depression

I have struggled on and off with depression. However, it has become worse in recent months as I am trying to juggle financial difficulties, a full time job, and four children. I am with the father of my three youngest, and he is an alcoholic. He had made tremendous progress in kicking the habit until he became unemployed, now it is spiraling out of control and so is my life along with it.

Lexapro Too Soon to Tell

I have only tried it for a month, but it seemed to work really well. However, I have procrastinated in returning to the Dr. for a new prescription.

Paxil Working / Worked

Worked really well, but I gained a lot of weight

Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful

This is hit or miss. I often think "happy thoughts" but then counter them with negative thoughts.

Psychotherapy Not Working

The therapists I have seen seem to be in thier position only for the $$. My last therapist didn't even return my repeated calls for an appointment. Not so much as an "I don't want to see you" or "I can't help you"

Writing is a wonderful release. However, I have recently become so depressed that I can't clear my mind long enough to have the desire to write

Open Diets & Weight Maintenance

I lost almost 100 pounds last year. Yay!! I put a lot of it back on. Boo!! I lost the weight with the prescription, Adipex. When I started the prescription I was exercising a lot and watching my diet. However, I eventually began starving myself and became very drained and unhealthy, then my body became immune to the prescription and I began to gain weight again. I want to lose the healthy way this time.

Open Twins, Triplets & More

I had two children, a girl and a boy. Unexpectedly, I became pregnant which ended in miscarriage, and I started birth control. A couple of months later, I became pregnant again. This pregnancy ended up being a tubal (ectopic) pregnancy, and nearly cost me my life, I had an emergency surgery which required removal of my right tube and ovary. Two weeks later, I became pregnant with twin girls... It was meant to be!
