I'm the eldest of 5 siblings, three of who are CADASIL positive (3 eldest), my youngest sister has beem tested negative and the next youngest has not taken the test I was diagnosed positive 2 years ago and since then have suffered from wild mood swings and increasing bouts of headaches of increasing intensity. I have a slight balance problem which my consultant thinks is the result of a mild stroke in my early/mid 40s. I lost my dad a while back who was diagnosed as suffering from Alzheimers but I thibk I know what it was now...he wasn't even 60 years old....so sadly missed. We lost mum a couple of years ago to cancer but we never told her of the conditions we have and how it linked to dad. I feel a bit guilty about that. I'm trying to live my life and put on a happy face. I feel that I don't want to impose myself or my condition on anyone.....but inside my head, WW3 is raging with so many mixed thoughts and unanswered questions.
