      I have been a type 1 for 33 years. went through two kidney transplants and 2 yrs of blindness. Got a new kidney 14 yrs ago and surgery to my eyes and now have 20/30 vision in my left eye. In good control now. My son became a type 1, 2 yrs ago at age 9. Just looking for support and give support on dealing with people who are healthy and do not understand what we go through
