I am a registered nurse and work in the pediatric emergency room. I have been a nurse since 1999 and very much enjoy what I do. I have been married for eight years and have two children. My daughter is going to be four and the baby is three months. My husband manages a deli and works all the time. I work nights and take care of the children during the day.

Welcome to the board. I hope you'll find lots of support here. You have a great attitude.
My son's name is Bryce and he is three months old. When I was pregnant with Bryce they said that my down's screen came back positive and that I needed to do further testing. I chose to do the level two ultrasound and blood work only. When I had the level two ultrasound done they said that they thought he had a hole in his heart, which was followed up with an echo. The echo showed no hole in his heart, thank god. My chances was 1 out of 4 and my husband and I were fine with the odds and the fact that he might be downs. He is a beautiful boy and the only issues right now is becoming the feedings. I am looking for an outlet to talk to people who understand what I am going through and hopefully make some friends as well as some advice.
