My son was diagnosed with Autism 3 1/2 years ago. We left traditional medicine and treated withj a DAN doctor. Now 3 years later I feel like we have BEAT AUTISM!!!! Jacobs will be going into mainstream kindergarten, he talks constantly and is finally healthy.

Treatments

Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked

Food is the magic medicine. Gluten/Casein free diet has helped tremendously.

Concerta Working / Worked

It worked very well, however I did not want my son taking prescription medication. I took him off of it this summer and now we are trying "Attentive Child." It is too soon to tell, but I will let everyone know.

Early Intervention Working / Worked

We only had it for a short time, but it seemed to have helped him.

Occupational Therapy Working / Worked

Patience Working / Worked

This is the hardest, but the best.

Close Breakups & Divorce

I am a mom with 3 young children trying to juggle kids and the working world again after many years of being at home. I love it but at the same time it is the hardest thing I have ever done!!
