About Me
I am the parent of a 14 yearold boy who has ADHD combined.....we struggle everyday to have peace in our home. I am a working mother but spend alot of time with activities to keep my ADHD child and his younger brother busy, sometimes it is a struggle with one an outdoors person and one not so much. I myself suffer from ADD with some hyper issues. I was not diagnosed as a teen and struggled through highschool and still in some daily life.

Close Parents of Children with ADHD
My son was just recently diagnosed he should have been years ago, but his dad was very apposed to the idea and would almost have war with teachers about the issue. I have taken steps since we are no longer together to seek treatment for my son and he is doing some better. It became apparent to me years ago that his behavior was not just him being "a boy".
