Close Psoriasis
Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the Skin25 years ago I developed patches on my elbows, which started spreading till I was forced to wear only long sleeves. Later psoriasis developed on my head and body. I've tried a lot of creams and shampoos, but with very insignificant effect.
Treatments
- Betamethasone (Topical) Not Working
- Didn't work for me.
- Cyclosporine Somewhat Helpful
- Works for short periods of time, normally for the first 2 weeks.
- Elocon Not Working
- Helped for a short period of time.
- Hydrocortisone Somewhat Helpful
- In order to cover the whole affected area I need a lot of this cream, the result of the treatment is not very visible, it releives the itching for a while, but I don't think it's safe to use a lot of steroids.
- Triamcinolone Topical Somewhat Helpful
- Same effect as Hydrocortisone.
