I am 37 and I run a commercial construction company. I am in a relationship, never married and no children. I've been suffering from Panic attacks since about 2004. The first one was brought on by a combination of cold medicine and alergy medicine. It was so bad it put me in the hospital for 3 days. Since then I've struggled off and on, but mostly kept them at bay by changing my diet, exercise and therapy. It's just been recently that I can't seem to get up the energy to do anything and the anxiety is worse than ever before.
I love being social, and this disorder really keeps me from what I love. Volleyball, basketball, wine, cooking, art,

I have been experiencing panic attacks since 2004. No one could tell me what was happening to me at first so it was horrible and got to the point where I couldn't leave my apartment. I finally moved home, started educating myself and changed my diet and lifestyle and the panic attacks for the most part went away. for the past couple of years I would only get them under extremely stressful situations or when I was run down or would fly. Recently I am having them quite often, almost daily and not sure why. My doctor won't prescribe anything for me and wants me to see a Psych, which I don't want to do. I'd like to not depend on meds for survival.
I have been experiencing panic attacks since 2004. No doctor really spent the time to explain what was heppening to me, they just gave me effexor and xanax for when I had an attack and sent me on my way. I educated myself and got off the effexor and just kept the xanax for extreme situations which only happened about 1 every couple of months. Until recently. I react badly to most medications and would prefer a natural route.
