Thanks for your suggestion on the book. I thought codependency was when your partner was a user/alcoholic? I have read its called a breakup because its broken, half of the journey from abandonment to healing, started with how to get over a broken heart in 30 days, and stll have osteen's becoming a better you and how to love your partner without loosing yourself..feels like I am back in college.. But no magic pills, huh? Are you ok?
I’m With You
Never have I heard anyone I can relate to as well. Know that you're not alone and when I struggle with detachment, I'm sending strength your way as well!

I am going through a divorce and also realize just how co-dependent I am, stemming from growing up in an alcoholic family and then living with an abusive H. Need to really work on issues surrounding self-esteem and abandonment.
