  Hi Brindall. I used to work an ER and part time on an ambulance as an EMT. To be fair to ER Nurses, I watched Bipolars brought in the ER for years (usually by the Police ) and was quite frightened by them. The fact that I was one of them never entired my mind until I had a manic episode of my own (my second actually, from my teen years. ) But you are so right how very cruel the medical profession can be about Bipolars. I guess we just keep going until someday when people get a little more educated.
