About Me

I am 47 and have a two sons and a daughter. My oldest son (27) has been struggling with drug addiction and alcoholism for years. My 24 year old son, fell in June 0f 2007, had brain surgery and we were told that if he made it out alive, he would never walk or talk again. He is now miraculously walking and talking. EVerything was going so well until Dec when he started having seizures. His last one was Feb. and he was looking forward to starting to drive again in Aug. He started a different med that seemed to be working really well. Today he had a grand mal. the worst one he's ever had. so now his 6 months to drive starts all over again. the seizures are so scary for all of us! today he turned blue and stopped breathing at the end of the siezure, which he has never done before. We are all exhausted as we have been on this year long journey. it seems like just as things are starting to get back to some normalcy and he starts to get his life back, he has another seizure. we know that we are blessed to have him here and greatful for his progress, but we are just so tired.
