Close Fibromyalgia
I have been very ill since october 2005. I started with severe diarrohea. I went to my GP who sent of a speciman, this came back negative. The problem continued. Then in the november I was involved in a car crash and sustained severe whiplash and post traumatic stress. Things have been a downhill spiral ever since. The symptoms which I have been battling with for the past 3 years are Diarrohea, severe abdo pain, persistant mouth and tongue ulcers, stabbing pain in my eyes with occasional sensitivity to sunlight, tingling and numbness in fingers and toes, constant tiredness and fatigue, hives, dry mouth thick saliva, vaginal soreness and dizzy spells. Well I gone from being told that I had appendicitis, then they thought I needed my gall bladder removed but the scan was normal. I was then suspected to be suffering with mini strokes which wasn't the case. I have spent the last year having multiple biopsies on the bowel and was told I had probable crohn's. But guess what the gastro has said it isn't. They have said I have severe IBS and show classic symptoms of fibro. I am being sent to a pain clinic. I am insisting now that I want a referral to a rheumy. I would really appreciate some input from the forum, I am so ill and feel very alone. Does fibro present with any other autoimmune diseases? Has anyone else these symptoms.
