I have been there so many times. I am so sorry that you had to go through that. I pray that you will be able to stay away longer this time. ONE DAY AT A TIME is all you can ask for.

Hey, About the thrush, that is a form of yeast infection. If you have been taking antiboitics it very well maybe. But u stated you ate hot/spicy food, I would watch it and maybe eat some yogurt. If not better or gets worst by Monday I would call your dr. and get that mouth rinse for it. Hugs Tessa

You have a great attitude Trublu!! I know the feeling of no money on your day off, if I can just pay the monthly bills without going further in the hole right now it's a good month. At least I have stopped adding to the problem with gambling have a great day off, your back on track now!!

Trublu, Sorry to hear about your slip, 23 days is a nice start. When I was slipping it was every week. LOL You will get those days back plus more. You have to put that incedent into your toolbox and remember it next time he asks. The road to recovery can be very bumpy but if you are prepared you can avoid them. Just remember ODAAT, you can do it. Oh & please dont' beat yourself up you are fighting a serious addiction, you need to be kind to yourself and call it for what it is. Your recovery is not over cause you slipped it is just starting. HUgs Tessa

You know what I was just thinking of . . . it's probably better if we don't focus so much on the number of days . . . I kind of stopped doing that as much this week & it seems easier. Before when I slipped up, I was so sure that after (about 3 months in my case) that I could continue doing it you start getting a little confident, so then when it happens you're really sad and upset. I know you will bounce back from this... just wanted to write and say those things.. hang in there.

Hey there, TruBlu, Cheer up. You're young. You got lots of time to do many things. Things you will be proud of and accomplishments that you can achieve. You'll find your groove. Everyone does things they regret. The main thing is to learn and move on. Remember, it's not how many times you fall down, the important thing is how many times you get back up. I'm praying for you and wishing good things to come your way soon. I too struggled so much with this crazy gambling thing. If I can recover from it, you can too. Gerard www.iamnotagambler.com
