Checking emails, updating website profiles.
Hmmm... I live with my parents, have 3 cats & 2 dogs. My best friend also has 2 kitties, so I'm also an aunt! Lol. I love to go to concerts & hang out with family. (I consider my friends family), so I usually don't distinguish between them. I also love to sing, paint, write, & walk. If you want a full profile on me, visit: www.myspace.com/nonpointchica I'm pretty much an open book & I love to get to know people.
ok thank u very much
thanks. wait where can i get those numbers?
Thanks for your response. I cant imagine going through all that you have. I wish that I had half of the courage that you have. Thanks again so much for letting me know a little about you. I checked out your website and all I can say is that you are a true woman and someone to be looked up to! Melissa
Wow, you have been through so much. 63 surgeries! I checked out your myspace page, looks like you like a lot of music. Me too. I do not know much about being blind. I am sure it changes how you perceive people. It seems like so many first impressions are at first sight. Have you always had no eyesight? So are you finding life is a lot better when you have reached non-school age? I do. I am very thankful that I am not a child and not in school anymore. Sometimes I wonder that when I introduce myself to new friends, if I should come out and say, "in case you are wondering....i was born with a cleft lip / palate...any questions...?" I think maybe that would combat the unwelcome stares?? I guess people are afraid to ask because they might offend. I've asked friends or boyfriends if their families have ever said anything, and sure enough, as soon as I am gone, "so...what was different about her...??" Ha. I bet I could explain it better. Thanks for replying to me!
I was born with a Bilateral Cleft Lip/Palate, as well as a Bilateral Tessier Cleft. I've had 63 reconstructive operations so far & am in the process of trying for another one. Feel free to ask me any questions at all & I will do my best to help you out.
To long to explain really. Look at the link in my groups for Cleft Lip/Palate, that's part of it to. I was born with a severe Bilateral Tessier Cleft that runs the entire length of my face up into my mouth/nose/eyes. I've had 63 reconstructive operations thus far & will need more. I joined to offer support to others. Feel free to ask questions.
I don't even remember exactly when I was diagnosed the first time, but it lead to several more physicians visits just to be sure. Turns out I don't have cysts on my ovaries, but they still say I have PCOS.
My teenage sister was pregnant, but miscarried. I was pretty much the only person she could lean on, so I'm just here to help. I figure she wasn't the only one who needed an older sister's help because the rest of the family wasn't helpful.
