Close Epilepsy & Seizures
Im Sarah, I've had Epilepsy sincee I was 2.I have refractory epilepsy. Never been controlled brainsurgery did it had the surgery in 1982 and was having more 100 sz's a month and I had RTL.I had the surgery in MontrealCanada. I've tried 19 different AEDs and Im allergic to alot of them or med resistant. I've busted my head open more times than I'll ever remember. I got a VNS in 2000 my 1st one lasted 17 mths took 7 mths before found correct setting. I've had my 2nd one for over 4 yrs.

- I had stop taking it because I couldn't handle the side effects.

I was getting epidurals in my back but know more for me. I went down saturday had sz in my shower ended falling out of my shower onto tile floor in the bathroom my back will never be the same again.

We got up so much debt one time we went to CCC and was told file for bankruptcy we did about 10 yrs ago. but now we have everything where we make one payment on two accts taken out of chking acct.our credit cards be paid off in about 2yrs.

I had a seizure after sz tried to grab hold of something and it was hot pan I'd just fried chix in and I ended up w/grease all overme andluckily my hips and luckily not myface butface.I did get grease on my shoulders though ended up with burns.
