The DVT and PE are a month behind me now and I'm feeling much better about the whole situation. I feel like any minor or major changes in my body or behavior, I simply attribute to Warfarin--the reality of the situation I am unsure of, but now its a running joke in the house where even if I just sneeze my husband or I will say "its b/c of the blood thinners".

I have been unable to workout for going on two months now. Today I got a gym membership, which I am incredibly excited about. I have learned that swimming does not cause my leg to swell, and so I plan on taking advantage of that. I look forward to when i can extend my workout routine...but for now, I'm okay with just swimming.

In other news, I have decided to take my health more seriously and am meeting with my new endocronologist next Monday. I was diagnosed with PCOS and hyperandrogenism (something like that) when I was 16 (I think). I stayed under my dr's care for 4 years and then decided I didn't want to deal with any of it. I will meet my new dr (I've moved since the last dr) and am eager to see if he will agree with my previous dr's diagnosis. I fear testing, as I had a horrible experience last time. I think this will bring me some peace though, which is much needed.

Things are improving around here...
