It is the same for me I spell like someone of the age of 7. I learn to read at age 11. I learn 3 years of reading in one year. I became a very good reader but never learn to Spell. I try for many years to learn spelling but never did. I love to read I read all the time it made me happy. People never unstand why I can not spell if I can read. Been with lots of pain beoause of it and maked fun of. People will never get it. How I am 56 year old and cannot spell. I did finsh High School but never had good jobs that is why I am money poor. I try to go to college did not go well. You are the 3rd person I know with this. I hope you get the best education, try something you will not need to spell. When you get older maybe computer will be of better help.

I hate people who think all Dyslexc people are bad reader!! my reading age is 6 1/2 years older than it should be, it just effects my spelling and the way i think. My brother was tested out and he had Dyslexia so my mum got me and my twin tested and i came up Dyslexc... my twin did not.
