I am a self-diagnosed "learned insomniac" and have been for years. I used to only suffer from it maybe one or two nights a month, but about 6 weeks ago that turned into one or two nights a week to eventually every night. I finally went to the doc and got some Ambien, which has been my only opportunity for solace the past 2 weeks, but I really want to come off of it this weekend. I tried last weekend but I have a feeling that a read a little too much about the possiblity of rebound insomnia that I actually caused it. If anyone has any words of encouragement or ideas on how I can overcome this, please let me know.
