Not many people know I wear aids or have tinntius, unless they pull my hair back LOL. Last week got a job offer, at the interview I was honest and told them, and they were amazed, will be working as a Dr's receptionist so wish me luck! . Like to chat, be my friend and we can chat away!! . Love to travel, mainly cruising. Just back from Venice and the Greek Islands.

I am finding it very hard to accept tinnitus. Can you help me with some tips on what you did to successfully habituate to the noise? What noises did/do do you hear?

AMAZING pictures, Sue! Wow, I can't even believe they can fit so much onto a ship now days: ice rink?, rock climbing wall?, huge theater?, a MALL? WOW! Man, I hope this ship makes it to San Diego one day so I can take a tour (I get rich enough to take a cruise on it... ha ha).

I have had tinnitus since I was 32, I am now 46. After a few years of 'just' tinnitus LOL, my hearing seemed to get worse first in the left ear , then the right. I didn't want to wear hearing aids, but it was affecting my life, I got fed up of saying 'what? pardon?' all the time. I am a mum of 2 kids, now grown and have always worked, so needed to wear first one, then lately 2 aids. Chat anytime, make me a friend. Sue is UK,
