About Me
I'm a 47yr old man. I have 2 grown children & 3 grandchildren. I'm single in the process of moving to a new apartment. I have 3 years & 3 months sober. Sometimes I battle depression but not as bad or often as I used to. I like being able to reach out for support and be able to give it as well. I'm a cancer serviver and on SSI.
Interests
STAYING sober, my family & friends. I also like going to 12 step meetings. I like working on classic cars & being on the net. Cooking is somthing I like to do. I also like going to my church.

I'm a 47 year old male. I have been addicted to drugs and alcohol most of my life. I have lost close family members to addiction. I have been in and out of jail the whole time. I had lung cancer and that really did not help my drug problem. I was in rehab 7 or 8 times the last time stuck.I have been sober now 3yrs and 3mo. I'm moving into a new apartment soon, clearing up all my court stuff, seeing all my family. life is now good.

- It is still saving my life, Meetings & god keep me strong.
- Detox Working / Worked
- It sucked but was worth it.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Working / Worked
- going to out patient helped me readjust living clean.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- they gave me the tools i needed and showed me how to use them.
- Willpower Not Working
- NO WAY could i do what i have done alone.
