I was just diagnosed with asthma at the age of 47. It started with an upper respitory infection and I have been struggling with this for 4 weeks now. I am taking singular, prednisone, advair and ventolin- to try to get it under control. I am having around two attacks a day. I just saw an asthma specialist yesterday and was in the hospital last week. I am learning what some of my triggers are. Can certain foods also be triggers? Any info would be appreciated.
