Type: Papillary CarcinomaMy name is Pat. I am a married father of two, stepfather of four and grandfather of one. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in June of 2006 and underwent a complete thyroidectomy.

Open Hypoparathyroidism
I have hypoparathyroidism due to a thyroidectomy in 2006. I live in the US and am unable to get parathyroid hormone treatment so I rely on huge doses of calcium daily
