Hi, The following was written by a friend from loving arms.... Jamie's little boy, Dakota drowned. Many of you know how her heart aches... I found this poem she wrote so true... so moving... I wanted to share it with you...
EVERY TEAR
Every tear that I have cried,
Is not so that the world,
Knows that you have died.
But so that they know you have lived.
Every tear that runs down my face,
Is because you were once here,
And nothing can take your place.
Every tear that I cry,
Is for a memory of joy,
That I have with
my precious little boy.
Every tear that I shed,
Is for the love that
I have for you.
As long as I have that,
You will never be dead.
Every tear that leaks
Onto my pillow,
Is because I miss you,
And my heart feels weak.
Every tear is a little piece
Of my soul.
Because with you gone,
I will never feel whole.
Every tear reminds me
That you have gone home,
But with you as my angel,
I am never truly alone.
Every tear means
That you are loved.,
And Jesus is holding you safely,
Until I can do so again.
Every tear that I cry,
Means that you lived,
That you laughed, that you loved,
That you were loved.
Every tear that comes to my eye,
Means that I will hold you in my heart,
Until I can hold you in my arms,
When we will never again be apart.
