Journal Entry for March 21, 2007 Mood
Wednesday, March 21, 2007
I was in a really bad mood today so after work I went to my nice little retreat spot at the nature park and after a mini-hike came up with this:

Strength arises when we wait upon the Lord
Wait: patience, perfect timing, yes
but also praise, worship, sacrifice, and love on and for the Lord.

Many paths lead to the same destinations.
Choosing which path to take is the key.
Really steep climb immediately
means easier going gradually down hill.
Gradually growing up-hill
sometimes leads to more ups and downs
than if taking the steep climb first,
plus sharper decline is usually at the end
and you never know when you’ll loose control.
Watch where you are going
because if you are distracted you may stumble.
Keep your eyes looking ahead at the long term goals
but don’t forget to watch your immediate goals or again, you may stumble.
But most importantly remember God is always with you no matter what
and hey, why not have a little fun in the mean time.
But watch out for shortcuts,
they may lead to more trouble in the long run.

I feel better now.
