For those out there who think my rants on Government are wrong and the hits on Gates too strong! All I ask is too look at the intentions......We try to make other Countries work like the Democratic proccess does here...We were just a few chads shy of having another election in 2000.Read the profiles and stories of those on DS and you will find people who have LOST or in the proccess of losing all they have as result of Federal foot dragging on Social Security....But they have ARROGANCE to think they can "Heal" Iraq! They haven't healed many here in this Country. Of the top 22 Industralized Nations we are last in SOCIAL SPENDING....I hear the reason as I write this from local Military base as they explode $ . And as for Bill....wanting to fight Aids in Africa is great....but curing Aids is the only real way to help, and the cash should be going to research here in the States to cure it. Also what about the inner city USA? A study in NYC said that one quarter of the people in the city between 18 and 30 have Genital Herpes! He needs to go there first....you can only help others after you've helped yourself!

Hey I agree with you. And it sucks that there's all this foreign aide when this country won't take care of it's own citizens who are disabled. Or make them wait so long, they go bankrupt, lose their house or worse. I'm disgusted that I have worked more than 25 years continuously and when I can't do it anymore, the government kicks me (and the rest of us) in the ass. That is all

I agree. It's hard to help someone else out physically when you can't even take care of yourself because you feel so bad. What you are saying about our country helping other countries is the same concept. Do I believe we should help other countries out? Sure, but let's not forget America's economic debt and like you said about Aids, how can we help other countries fight Aids when it's so rampant here and there's no cure. Find a cure here first, then take that cure over seas as well as using it to treat Americans. Of course, aids originally did come from Africa.
I also agree that government should speed the disability process up quicker for those of us who can't work and need the money.
