So sorry to hear about your BFN. This is such a tough process. I've been trying to advocate with my HR dept to provide ins coverage for infertility treatments - the Resolve website has a letter template that I used. I also checked into Huntington Reproductive Center as they have clinical trials, like Lissa mentioned. And signed up for http://clinicaltrials.gov/. hang in there!

I am sorry you are dealing with that. Maybe you could qualify for a clinical trial (you can Google it to find some in LA) to save some money? Good luck....

I am so sorry. That sucks! I hope re-evaluate may also mean some other ideas apart from IVF. I remember at some point you were looking into financing for IVF. Perhaps this is an option? Hugs

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
Finally diagnosed with PCOS in 2001 after years of wondering what was wrong. Currently TTC, and having a tough time.
Treatments
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- I took Clomid for a total of 9 cycles. First time I did 5 cycles, and ovuled 3rd-4th, but didn't get pregnant. Last time took it for 4 cycles, and didn't ovulate.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Somewhat Helpful
- Seems to do something cause after my Novarel (HCG trigger shot) I ovulate and my boobs are always sore.
- Laparoscopic Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- Used t o diagnose the PCOS
- Metformin Not Working
- Don't think it's working - other than giving me bowel problems.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- Yasmin worked like a charm for me. Periods were regular and no side effects!
- Progesterone Cream Too Soon to Tell
- Using now - side effects include stomach cramps/spasms.
- Provera Working / Worked
- Always works to enduce my period
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Worked to get me ovulating on the first try
