Hello everyone! Let me start by saying it has been a crazy end and begining to the year. Joshua is doing very well. We have been MIA because we don't have a computer. Well where do i begin. Ok. Our MO trip last June was ok. That is another story for when i have longer time. Anyway, Like i said Joshua is doing good. Well as good as he can be. HE finally started to cruise along the couch. It's not much but we will take what we can get right. He stands up, he has this device called a dynamic stander so instead of him having to sit while the other kids walk and play he can wheel himself around. He also has a wheelchair which should be delivered today. Only we aren't there to get it because he is in the hospital again. He has RSV. He was supposed to have surgery on his spine Monday but not now. I new things were going way to well this month. At least they were until they got the results of his preop blood work. His Pt an Ptt levels for clotting his blood were elevated so they put him on Vitamin K. That was when everything whent down hill. This all started on Monday of this week. Then on Tuesday he decided he was going to get the sniffels. We brought him to the pediatrician and they gave him medicine but that didn't work. Then on Wednesday he decided he was going to start coughing. Then Thursday he had to get a fever of over 103. We brought him to our favorite Hospital, and they kept him because his fever was almost over 104. Hopefully we will be going home today. Don't know though because overnight his breathing dipped below what it was supposed to be. He had good color and his temp was down and his heart was fine so we will see. They canceled the spine surgery until he is better which is good but now the endless nights of not sleeping are back again. At least until the surgery is over. I will explain the surgery to whoever whats to know about it because it is a fairly new surgery. It is called Vepter. Is a Titainium Rib. Like i said long story. I hope everyone is doing good. We are getting by. To all my friends here sorry it has been so long. We missed all u guys. I will write more as soon as i can. I will keep u guys posted on what has been going on ok. I hope you get to go home today aswell! Good luck. And I would like to hear about the surgery! My daughter has a dynamic stander aswell as her wheelchair. Hope things go your way today!

i'm sorry to hear that the little fellow is so sick...sounds like there are good plans for him in the future. tell us more about the surgery.
