I like to read and write poetry. I love to read regular books as well. I love to watch romantic comedys, dramas, and pretty much everything when it comes to movies.

Close Scoliosis
My son Joshua has scoliosis. He is curved or was curved 39 degrees.
Treatments
- Brace Too Soon to Tell
- He has a TLSO back brace, and has had it since he was about 3 months old. His back hasn't gotten any worse but it hasn't gotten any better either. They are monitoring him with x-rays to see what they are going to do from there
Close Spina Bifida
Type: otherI am a fist time mother and my son Joshua was diagnost with Spina Bifida while i was still pregnant. He was born March 21,2006. He had his back surgery March 22,2006. He his doing ok. I could really use info so i know what to look for as he gets older.
Treatments
- Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- This experience was very trying for me. I had no one to talk to about it and he is my first child. I didn't know what to expect.
Open Hydrocephalus
My Joshua was born with Spina Bifida and has the Hydrocephalus. He has had hi VP Shunt revised twice already.
Treatments
- Shunts Working / Worked
- Now it works. We haven't had any problems with it since the second revision in August.
Open Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: LatexI am not sure if he has the allergie to latex but because he was born with Spina Bifida they do the latex procaution.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- It is very hard to buy food for him. He has a list of everything from being high to moderate to low. All this stuff i have to do to make sure he doesn't have an allergic reaction.
Open Miscarriage
2 miscarriages 8 months apart from each other. One in March of 2004 and the other in December 2004. I have one living child with a lot of health problems
Open Depression
I find that i seem to be really depressed lately. It is more now than it has ever been. I don't like Doctors so i won't go to one. So i just deal with it.
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
I am an overweight 25 year old who has tried every diet so far. I don't know what else to do. I have a child with health problems and i want to be able to run and chase after him when he gets older.
