About Me
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder, OCD, GAD and am on SSD. I love art, music, biking and dogs. I have been married to a great understanding guy for 20 years. We have no children because of my illness. Nobody I know really understands the struggles I go thru everyday. I have 2 dogs, a cocker and a beagle who I consider to be my kids.
Interests
Art, music and dogs. Enjoy hiking, walking on the beach and long drives with our 2 dogs, helping people and riding my bike. I'M NOT HERE FOR A DATE SO PLEASE STOP THE SHIT. I CAME HERE FOR SUPPORT. DO YOU KNOW THE DEFINITION OF THAT WORD.

I cannot make any promises anymore that I can't keep...learned that the hard way, but will keep it in mind. Most of it is from not being able to sleep .. you know if you can't sleep the world looks messy and you just feel like crap. Have doc appt on the 18th and gotta hold on till then

Close Bipolar Disorder
I was diagnosed when I was about 28 to 30 yrs. old. I really believe I have had it since childhood. I am married to a great understanding guy for 19 yrs. We have two dogs, a cocker and a beagle who we consider to be our kids. I enjoy hiking, walking on the beach and just being with our dogs. I see a very helpful therapist once a week. I love to be able to help people. Also have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.which I have a neurostimulator implant for the pain.
Treatments
- Abilify Working / Worked
- This med. was a Godsend to me. I'm on the max. 30 mg. and have never felt as "normal" even when I was a child.
- Depakote Not Working
- Made me gain weight, lose my hair and lost my sex drive.
- Fish Oil Working / Worked
- Definitely working.
- Geodon Not Working
- Did absolutely nothing for my moods and caused me not to sleep at all.
- Lamictal Not Working
- Couldn't concentrate and I got a rash. Had to stop it.
- Seroquel Working / Worked
- This med. helped with my bipolar and also allowed me to sleep at night. However, didn't like the side effects.
- Topamax Working / Worked
- Lost too much weight. I am far from overweight and this made me get skeletal looking.
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- Caused me to not sleep for nights at a time. Had to go off of it.
