If Roses are Red, And Violets are Purple... Decided That THIS day... My Spirit would become 'uRple'.... An 'uRple' --you see, is a Creation of My Own.... for One Who Stops & Compares -- others' Thoughts, Concerns, Actions, Yes, even Laughter, Tears, & Prayers... Of Others, While making a way of my own.... Will You Come Join Me In a little time of Play....?? We'll compare while playing, steps taken & How We've Grown.... Will We do anything Constructive, As well as You Should Ask....??? But, Of Course, My Dear Freind!!... We'll Blend Fun with Tasks!! Had thought Long & Hard.... What's ONE Accomplishment to do THIS Day.... Looked all around....so much to choose from.. But then realized, "Ah-hah," -- We Will Make a Way!! Began the Process to Make an Opening... We spend way too much Time Dreading, So let's push Dread aside... Keeping Afloat means far more than mere Treading.... We have to Swim if we are going to move... and it's true that I have digressed.. But it's also true, that the First Step is Required of Any Journey, There is Really Not all this Need to Stress.... So take my hand, and let's laugh and play. Let's Create, Use Our Brains... Enjoy This Time to Explore... Break away these Self Imposed Chains.... Let's Become uRples!! Run Free!! Enjoy Life While It Lasts.... We will help each other make a stand! We will have Fun, even thru heartache, Life is but a Moment, Let's make the Best While We Can. Tag!! You're 'It'...!!
Hi Cath, it is BamaFlash's birthday tomorrow, 29 Feb. Thought you might want to send her a hug. Megg
I have a fabulous 3 year old girl that can light up a room (but only if she feels like it).
I have a fabulous 3 year old daughter named Parker who is my joy and snuggle buggle. I think she is an evil genius.... or a budding class clown.
My mother (and family) suffered from Alzheimer's disease. The diagnosis was made 4 years ago and progressed pretty rapidly. She passed away last November.
My mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease, passed away this past November. She was 70. She left behind her four grown children, 5 granddaughters and her devoted husband of 40 years. I feel like I have been mourning my mother for the past 4 years as the disease rather aggressively took away the woman who raised me... I am most concerned about my dad, who has taken her death very, very hard.
I have a beautiful baby girl, born in May 2007. She's my third girl and the easiest baby thus far.
I am pregnant with my 3rd child.... my third girl.
My 39 year old sister-in-law was just diagnosed with Acute Promyelotic Leukemia. I am trying to learn all I can to provide her with information and support.
I breastfeed my older til she was 13 months and my 2nd daughter until she was 8 months. I am pregnant with my 3rd daughter and plan to breastfeed her as long as I can (my goal is a least 6 months, but since she will be my last baby, I may go over a year).
I am married to a Jewish man and I was raised without any organized religion, although my background is christian.
I am of Korean descent and my husband is Caucasian and of Jewish descent. We have been married now for 7 years and have 2 daughters and one more on the way.
I have a 6 year old daughter. She's a joy and a challenge.
My sister-in-law was recently diagnosed with AML. She did great through her induction and is now on maintenance at Johns Hopkins. She is a 40 year old mother of 3 young girls and the diagnosis has rocked our family.
