Close Infertility
My husband and I have been trying to conceive almost 5 years now. After about 8 IUI's, one in-vitro attempt, and 4 miscarriages we are now looking towards adoption. Very excited about the adoption.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- Worked the first time I got pregnant. Not the second time.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- I've been on and off clomid due to my irregular cycle. It seems to work at the lowest dosage.
- Follistim Working / Worked
- Lots of eggs
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- released lots of eggs
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- BFP
- Lupron Somewhat Helpful

Close Miscarriage
My husband and I have been trying for 3 1/2 years to have a baby. I had 2 miscarriages in 2006. One in January (7 wks along) and in November (10 weeks along). Both times I had no bleeding, but I did have a bad feeling. The ultrasounds showed no heartbeat. Causes of the miscarriages are unknown. June 2007 3rd miscarriage. Going through my 4th miscarriage now. Running out of ideas on what to do next.
Treatments
- Clomid Working / Worked
- Does regulate my periods on the lowest dosage and I do ovulate.
Open Adoption
My husband and I have been TTC for over 4 years now. I'm am currently going through my 4th miscarriage. This last one we did IVF with PGD in hopes of no more miscarriages. The doctors still believe it could genetics with my husband, but they have no real answers. I don't know that I can deal with more miscarriages and we are looking towards adoption. I do not know anyting about adoption and would like to learn more and find out where to start.
