    About Me

    I am a 30 yo physical therapist in northern Va. We have one baby, a dog named Alex, who is 12 years old. Dave and I have been married since June 2000. We spent the past year taking a break from IVF and completing our 1st marathon and 1/2 marathon! "Unofficially" trying to conceive since October 2004. 1st IVF treatment was in January 2007 and the 2nd was in April 2007. Currently in the middle of our 3rd round of IVF and praying that "the third time is a charm!" Considering international adoption as an alternative to IVF. Looking for daily strength through this trying process.

      Don't you just love being pregnant?? After seeing your picture...we are really similar as far as baby bumps go. This is so super exciting! I love caring this lil guy inside me! I go in on Oct. 1 for my huge ultrasound with the specialist. My mom and mother-in-law will be there. I can't wait! Keep me updated on how you are doing!! YEAH!

      I have shed more tears than I care to mention over the last 3 1/2 years.

      hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
      HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
      not comfortable, but not bad.
      In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
      Our only option was/is IVF with ICSI. Tried assisted hatching this round as we had trouble with implantation in the last 2 rounds (#1 Jan. 2007, #2 April 2007)
      Lupron Not Working
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      Decided if my husband and I could do the impossible and run a marathon, then maybe we could do the impossible and get pregnant too!
