Close Diabetes Type 2

Daughter was diagnosed with diabetes, at as a toddler and it was horrible. She hated having it and we were upset she acquired this disease. Now, flash forward 9 years. She's an elite tennis player, excelling in spite of diabetes and now say, "Mom, it's not so bad." She has come a long way. I created the website Lizziworldfoundation, to speak about the successes others are having in spite of having diabetes. It takes a little more time, and a lot of work, and things do get better. She doesn't allow it to bother her anymore. sure, there's days, when she get a little down, but definitely not often. Our routine of testing, watching what we eat, practicing tennis, is part of her normal, so she understands this is what she has do to remain healthy. She's doing quite well and only hope is for her to continue to do so.

Insulin Pump Working / Worked

Just got a new Cozmo pump. Lot of features, trying to figure out everything. My daughter seems pleased with it. She had the paradigm for five years prior to the Cozmo. She likes this pump better than the paradigm.

NovoLog Working / Worked

She used Novolog in her pump. It works well.
