I went to the doctors yesterday and today. Good news is that my blood is fine and now I don't have to go back for another 6 months.Yeay!. I saw the general surgeon about my abdominal hernia and they say it's serious and must be repaired ASAP. So I am scheduled to surgery this wednesday and since I no longer have anyone at home to take care of me, they are going to keep me overnight. I'm worried about who will look after the dogs, and who will be there to comfort and help me. This is the first surgery I have had without Paul and it makes me cry and miss him all the more. MY daughter jade said that she would help, drive me there, feed the dogs and pick me up and drive me home. I hope she can and will, she's not used to feeding and walking the dogs. Aug 1 she flies to ST Thomas VI to be in a wedding and she won't be back until the 10th. I probably sound like a baby, i"ve dealt with ovarian cancer and lung cancer, so this hernia should be nothing. But everything is harder and sader without Paul. Amy
