I look all around me,
But you are out of sight,
My Lord, my God, my Savior,
You're clouded by this fright.

The tears are coming nearer,
But I'm lost and all alone,
I can't find a shoulder to cry on,
I'm surrounded by hearts of stone.

I hold it all inside me,
But the feelings seem to age,
Outside I seem just tired,
On the inside battles rage.

The tears arive to sting my eyes,
I reach out in despiration,
Hoping to find someone to care,
No longer able to fight temptation.

My hands stay empty,
They tears begin to fall,
I let go of all my hope and courage,
And I'm not me at all.
