    About Me

My name is Leanne and I am 39 from Melbourne in Australia. I have ovarian cancer. I know from experience that this kind of cancer can be hard to diagnose. I started bleeding to death in 2006 as I was hemeraging so bad I ended up at the er 10days later when it was still going on. I was put on medication to help stop the bleeding. Next month I had the same problem. I ended up with ovarian septitated cysts last year. This year I had an ultrasound that showed a hetrogenious lession (tumour) which was sugested a biopsy and also my endo wall had a thickening to it again and the thickness did not go away. I would love to speak to othe ladies with ovarian cancer. I was getting blood in the urine which doctors thought it may have been a bladder problem, and after a few visits to the uroligy clinic my bladder was normal but showed a bulky uterus in the CT IPV scan. so here I am with the desease I never thought I would get. I look forward to hearing from you all, God bless, Leanne

Hello, Just wondering how you are doing after surgery and if you got your results back. Have been praying for great results and a speedy recovery. It takes time though. I had my surgery in November and it took months to feel human. It will happen. Some flowers to brighten your day. Beth

Hi sweet heart.. So pleased you have the operation behind you now and can begin to feel more comfortable.. I don't remember talking to myself after the anaesthetic.. but I do remember trying to pull out tubes and needles and insisting that they all came out.. I think I won.. It's good they are doing tests and swabs.. My experience is that they get back to you a lot quicker with bad news than good.. Try not to worry about what you don't know.. though we all know how hard it is to be waiting for these things.. Best advice I've had and given is to enjoy all that you can to keep your mind on better things as much as you can.. hold on to the best bits around you and to your sense of humour.. though its hard to.. This will help to give you strength whatever the results.. We will all be wishing for the very best outcome for you and a quick recovery from the surgery.. Take it easy.. build your strength up.. heal and enjoy all that you can.. Love and best wishes.. inka xxx

hi my name is Leanne. I am 39 and from Australia. I have been diagnosed with servere personality disorder a long time ago. I am on Aropax and Rivotrill at night to help me sleep. I do not like going out in public other than to do my food shopping and pay bills and see my daughter who is 11 who does not live with me. I do not like the outside world and I cannot stand most people, is that normal? I feel like I would like to stay in my place and not go outside at all. what is that?

      Treatments

      Klonopin Working / Worked
it helps me sleep at night and I could not sleep without them.
