Close Sarcoidosis
I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in November 2006. It is in my Liver. They now have decided that I actually had it back in June 2005 in my Spleen which was removed because of enlargement and granulomas, but they couldn't identify what they were. I just got out of the hospital today after 4 days w/Pancreatitis.They can't identify the source and are now mentioning Sarcoidosis. I also have weird breakouts on my face in jaw area...undiagnosed too. I am diabetic and have had a heart attck w/ stent
Treatments
- Byetta Working / Worked
- I am starting my second year using Byetta. I am pleased with how it has helped me lose weight and helped my bloodsugar readings. The only side effect I still have is slight abdominal pain.
Close Diabetes Type 2
Overall I still fighting to get my A1C below 7.0. I used to have super control...but that is not the case anymore. I take 4 insulins plus Metformin. I eat pretty well and work out every week. I have been diagnosed for 9 years. I need support of others.

Open Pancreatitis
I was just released 3/10/07 from hospital after a Pancreatic Attack...horrible, horrible, horrible. They haven't determined the origin. No stones, no drinking, no new meds. I do have Sarcoidosis and am diabetic.
Open Sleep Apnea
I have sucessfully been using a CPAP machine for a year now and it has helped greatly.

I had a heart attack in March 2006 and they put in a stent within my LAD. I have had no problem since. I also have: diabetes, sleep apnea, peripheral neuropathy, high blood pressure, cholestrol issues, sarcoidosis.

Open Obesity
I have been overweight all of my life and it has been a struggle to make anything work consistantly. I have numerous health issues that I work on daily.

Open Cirrhosis
I am in the early stages of cirrhosis of the liver. It is due to Sarcoidosis and also fatty liver. I have daily pain.
