Wow!  What a week it's been!

I got back from Nashville yesterday morning, and have been resting ever since.  I had a great time spending the most time in the studio that I ever have.  I met some very cool and talented folks while I was there.  And while I really liked the people there, I don't care too much for the town for several reasons:

- EVERYTHING CLOSES AT 9:00 PM!  God help you if you didn't get anything to eat before then!  

- There are almost NO minorities there!  This was a little unnerving, as I live near Dallas, which has folks from everywhere now!  And the majority of the population in Texas is now Hispanic.  I'm just not used to being around that many white people, I guess!  8-)

In any case, I did my best and I believe both producers were happy with my performances, so I'm happy.  I'm a little melancholy too, as the experience is over.

But I'm happy to be home with my dog!  8-)
