Well its official...I`m now 47 years young today.Wasn`t I just twenty?? LOL Every year the kids ask what I want.This year I KNEW exactly I wanted.Its a four foot ladder with a red top.Since I am only 4`11 a ladder makes great sense.After they got done rolling on the floor in fits of laughter they asked what I really wanted.I haven`t seen them laugh so hard since I started painting our kitchen.Ok the name flame creeper should have been a clue but who knew it was going to dry bright pink? Not I says Chim it looked more like peach in the store.Always one to make the best of a situation I offered to added black spots so we could feel like we were in a watermelon.No dice! I doubt they will ever think outside the box! *S* Early this morning I got my gift from them.A comfy nightgown.I was already to rip open my ladder when they brought out this small package.Geez how much trouble can I get into in a nighty??? Missy is working till five when mom chris & I are picking her up then going to my parents for dinner.(Plenty of places there to hid a ladder..LOL) I should go in and buy the ladder when we get Missy,after all I need more paint. Anybody need some bright pink paint??

I was born with a few congenital heart defects and nearly died within my first week
of life. It was research funded by the American Heart Association just a few years
before I was born that led to breakthroughs that saved my life. In the past year,
the AHA contacted me to speak at some of their events to promote awareness of heart
disease, and I gladly accepted. I recently spoke on Bridge Street about my story

ah ,thankyou chim.my matthew was born with severe congenital heart defects and shouldnt have made it to his first birthday ,never mind have children and become a full time hairdresser.
heart problems are a condition very close to my heart and i wil support anyone with the courage and strength to over come such obstacles.
these people are special and an inspiration to us all.
take care of you and please give my very best wishes and luck to ur nephew for his challenge.

Hello! Remember me? I can not believe more then a month has gone by since I wrote.I want to thank you all for the messages & hugs.OK I told you before about my water bill.Well they didn`t fix it they just adjusted the meters to read the same.I get my bill and it was $428 for one month!! I had mentioned to the landladys mom about getting a new meter & she started yelling at me.I said it was the water authoritys idea gave her their number and told her she needed to talk to them.So she calls me back telling me she told them they better work with me etc ..still deadset againist a new meter.Well I read my meter and it is going to be another hundred bucks so I called her and told her now I`m getting a new meter.She tells me thats why my bill is so high and that her daughter told her to take care of getting the meter.Geez wonder where she heard that??? Anyway I have to pay $209 before they will let me make payments.Of course I don`t have it so I got a nasty shut off notice to which they stapled a snippy note.This is not my fault every month I complain because my bill is too high and they make excuses.I sure hope this new meter solves it.The woman upstairs paid $2000 for water and sewage for six years i bet I paid that in a year and a half.Then her water bill went down two thousand gallons last month.I think I have a water troll LOL!! My battle with the mailman also rages on.Both Monica and I have called and complained but still they give us the wrong mail.Today I got Shains new credit card.Thats just dangerous. As a surprise Missy got me a new sweeper.Surprise was it didn`t work.The company sent out a new one...which fed ex delivered to our neighbor.My grandson was spending the night and we had ordered pizza.He ran to answer the door & Raj ran barking & of course I`m telling Ty he doesn`t open the door and the dog to shut up and heres a guy with my sweeper.He must have thought he had gone to the zoo! My mom & I took the kids sled riding.I`d post some pics but my camera broke.I called Vivitar and the genius told me to try new batteries.He said are the batteries in the right way? I wanted to say huh? batteries? No wonder it doesn`t work.We had a huge snowstorm last weekend.The weatherman said more snow is coming.Oh joy! Well now that I can get back online I will be here.I have missed all of you & can`t wait to catch up.Big Hugs!!Comments

Hey, it is good to hear from you! I was just thinking about you two days ago but didn't leave a message because I felt like crap at the time. lol! I would see if you can take your complaint to the Utility Commisions office. They might be able to straighten things out. I am not sure where to go about the mail, but out of frustration I would contact the local new, newspapers and even call the mayors office. This shouldn't happen in life. Someone is getting paid to drag their stinky feet!

i am sorry but i was laughing when reading your story...not at you though,,,i just remember those days....when it was me...and it was jsut yesterday...as for the us mail...give it up,,they never and i mean never change,,,,have a great week,and please write more....don't stay away so long,3 months is an eternity...lol!garna

i wonder if the meter is my problem to. i have such high water bills. i will be checking it out. sounds to me like everything that could go wrong for you has. i sure hope things look up soon. i am sorry but i am glad it is you and not me who is getting the snow. i was so sick of winter i don't even know if i can go through another one. all of our snow has finally melted and we have actually been able to go outside and not freeze to death. good hearing from you. don't get on as much as i would like but i will check on you again soon. take care.

My birthdayis July 12 and I turned 46. My husband had turned 40 on Wednesday, so I made sure everyone knew it at the pig roast we had on Saturday.
