Close Diabetes Type 2
My husband just found out he has diabetes and it looks pretty bad for him. This has come on so fast and was a shock to us. He does not use the computer but I belong to DS and I thought I would join this community to maybe help me get through this with him.We have just learned how to give him shots of insulin 4 times a day. This is really scary. He also is now trying to quit smoking. I have been quit for almost 8 months now so hopfulyl he can do this.

Open Back Pain
I just saw my doctor today to go over my MRI results. It wasn't good.I was diagnosed with lumbar stenosis. He said my case is very severe. Here are my choices, live with it like I have been, get a shot that won't last too long or have surgery. Surgery scares me. I will be talking this over with my family and see what the best thing to do is. My back is sore and my leg and toes are numb. I join this group hoping to get some input from others who are suffering from the same thing.
